Young People
Empowering and supporting young people has always been at the heart of what FLAARE do- we exist to build better opportunities for young people.
We are scaling our mission by supporting Youth Teams through professional training and development workshops. Whilst doing this, we make sure we are remaining on the ground with young people and are still running our youth programmed, (just slightly reduced in number! )
Our current youth programmes focus on entrepreneurship and inspiring young people to think about their futures and careers. We believe that, when given the right role models, tools, and the space to think about the future, young people flourish. Our enterprise programmes use interesting and relevant teaching, mentors and content to engage young people in ways that unlock creativity, problem solving, and resilience.
We create programmes that build opportunities and tell stories. With young people at the heart of this.
Our previous work:
- FindyouFLAARE: Entrepreneurship 101
A 12-week programme running at Rising Green Youth Hub in Wood Green, October - December 2023. Working in partnership with (famous) dessert brand PLEESE, we have connected 20 young people with an awesome opportunity to design, pitch and sell a FLAARExPLEESE merchandise line to the community, their mentors and to The Mayor of Haringey who swung by to speak to celebrate the young people and do some Christmas shopping!
- FLAARE X STOOKI
A 12-week collaboration with fashion and lifestyle brand STOOKI and the students of Haringey Learning Partnership (HLP) a pupil referral unit (PRU) in North London Together, we designed a limited edition collection of t-shirts sold and spotlighted by Everpress and mentioned in the press a couple of times too (not bragging, just saying!)
- Seed Funding at HLP
A 6-week experience for students at Haringey Learning Partnership (HLP) a pupil referral unit (PRU) in North London. Each young person received £50 seed funding from FLAARE before incorporating their business, designing logos, products and selling at a community marketplace.

Sitting at the heart of community, business, and young people, FLAARE has partnered with local and corporate brands, businesses and founders bringing their value into the heart of Youth Hubs and community spaces..
- We have been fortunate enough to receive funding from the Tottenham Grammar School Fund - who support young people in Haringey!
- We built an amazing programme with Pleese, a speciality desert brand, resulting in 18 young people designing merch for their brand.
- In 2022, we were fortunate enough to work with clothing and lifestyle brand STOOKI, who collaborated with young people from HLP to co-design, create, and sell a series of limited addition t-shirts.
